Change of Plans (July 20, 2020)

To our family and friends,
We hope that you and your families are safe, healthy, and managing life as productively as you can during this unprecedented time in our lives.
As we’re sure most of you are aware, one of the many disruptions of everyday life during this pandemic is the inability of couples like us to hold the weddings of our dreams, with the family and friends who have been such important parts of our lives. Unfortunately, we are no exception. As a result, the decision we faced was whether to postpone our wedding until next year amidst the ongoing uncertainty, or move forward with a much smaller, reimagined wedding day.
What we ultimately decided is to move forward with the wedding as originally scheduled on September 6th. However, because the health and safety of our families, friends, and everyone involved with the wedding is our primary concern, we will only have our immediate family and sponsors with us in-person at the wedding venue.
We are planning to live-stream the wedding, for those of you who would like to be a part of our wedding day virtually from the comfort and safety of your homes. Please continue to check the Updates page of our wedding website, faithandkevin2020.minted.us, for information on how to access the live-stream on September 6th.
As you can imagine, the process of making this decision has been long and difficult, and not being able to have the wedding of our dreams is heartbreaking. But we know what’s most important is that we marry and start our shared life together, and keep perspective on what our country and world is enduring right now.
We hope and pray for an end to this pandemic, and that we can celebrate our marriage with you in some form in the near future. Until then, please know that you are all important to us, and we will miss your presence on September 6th. We hope that you all remain safe and healthy.
Love,
Faith and Kevin

Covid 19

The world is a far different place than when we started the wedding planning process. Everyone has been affected in some way by this crisis. One thing the wedding process has shown Kevin and I, is just how much our lives have been blessed by so many. In this time of high anxiety and uncertainty, know that our thoughts and prayers go out to each of you. We all have different roles in this fight, whether it is being socially conscious citizens flattening the curve, or uplifting our loved ones and neighbors, or serving in the front lines. You all are essential to us. Please stay safe and stay strong. Do not lose heart.

We hope and pray that the world is a bit calmer, come September, and that this will give us one more reason to celebrate… because we got through this together.

Love Faith and Kevin
